I started this project some time ago and have been slowly putting him together over the last three years. Currently, he is in process of being quilted and I hope he’ll be done in 2016!
If you’d like to make one much faster than I, feel free to download the pixel pattern right here! All of the blog posts I wrote about this quilt are included below. There’s lots of tips, suggestions, and a few celebrations too!
Woot! Let’s celebrate getting the piecing all finished!
In this post, I tell you how I selected my background fabric then the process for choosing how to piece it. There is a stitching diagram for this block and the “cheese stack” method for stacking blocks.
This post described how I break down the rows and connect them in sets of threes to help keep all these TINY squares straight.
Check out this post to get advice on how to cut all those tiny little squares and celebrate the half way mark!
In the beginning, there was crazy. This post describes how I organize all my little pixel squares to keep them in order while piecing. It’s quite an undertaking, but works really well.
